Gina started racing bikes in 2012, after joining the Sydney Uni Velo Club at the commencement of her degree, crossing over from the sport of Triathlon. She’s a Sydney local and races for the Sydney Uni – Staminade women’s team in the National Road Series. Although she mostly races on the road, she also likes to dabble in mountain bike racing and recently won the 2018 edition of the Tour de Timor, a 5-day mountain bike race held in East Timor.
